Prayer leader blows himself up in Charsadda mosque

CHARSADDA: A suspected militant was killed when he blew up his suicide vest in a mosque, leaving four people injured on Friday night, police said.
SHO Shabqadar Waliat Shah said that acting on information about the presence of a suspect in Saro Klay police cordoned off the area. When police spotted the suspect and tried to capture him he ran into the mosque where Isha prayer was in progress and blew himself up, he added.
The SHO said the man was later identified as Qari Naeem, the prayer leader at the mosque.
The injured were identified as Saad Fazal Rahim, who was leading the prayer at the time of the blast, Ihsan, Subhanullah and Zabihullah. They were taken to the district headquarters hospital.
A case has been registered and investigation is in progress.

State should make such a mechanism, as part of a long term strategy to do away with extremist ideology, which could prepare and train people as religious leaders with the spirit of tolerance and coexistence , thereby appointing prayer leaders at different mosques in the country. The Madressa system should be properly regulated and brought under the control of government, where the teachings of pluralism, fraternity, coexistence and respect of diversity could find place.

in pakistan anybody can become prayer leader or Imam...just occupy open space govt.or private and gradually make a mosque step by step...no body will question ..and if by chance police comes just make them happy..

There is one possible way on tracking these sort of persons. As done in the Middle East, all there khutbas and speeches should be recorded( audio recording ), and closely screened on regular basis by the ministry of 'auqaaf'. Make it mandatory. You could start seeing results within weeks.
These people re the main reason behind hate and intolerance even in big cities.

I think what he and all those who did such act when they stand before the almighty would give an account of their life imagine those people whose life was cut short they could'nt have said even good bye to their loved one . People should be educated men and woman that our real enemy are poverty , trafficking , drugs , natural calamaities, starvation , malnutrition, deadly disease for no cure have been found so far sometime think the militant who are being brainwashed if they had been educated properly they could have been good scientist,doctors , environmentalist who knows they would be the key to ending some of the real problems the world is facing
