LAHORE: Punjab Rangers Director General Maj Gen Umar Farooq Burki visited Qadhafi Stadium on Thursday to watch the security arrangements made for the first T20 cricket match between Pakistan and Zimbabwe.

According to a news release, the DG checked the measures taken for security of different areas of the stadium.

Addressing the rangers troops, he appreciated their professional skills. He said all the law enforcement agencies were showing their full commitment in the best possible way, leaving no stone unturned.

Gen Burki also expressed his satisfaction over the security arrangements and appreciated the law enforcers.
