KARACHI: Omar Associates set a new record in women’s domestic one-day cricket on Thursday when they thrived on three centuries to plunder a massive 450-5 against Sialkot in the 10th Mohtarma Fatimah Jinnah National Women’s Cricket Tournament at the Lahore Country Club in Muridke.

Opener Sidra Amin led the run spree by making 176 with her 128-ball knock featuring 23 fours and three sixes. Areeba Hanif compiled 107 — a score which was later matched by Iram Javed.

Sidra and Areeba, who hit 20 fours and one six, shared a second-wicket partnership of 188 before Iram partnered player-of-the-match Sidra in a stand of 204 for the third wicket.
