SHEIKHUPURA: A youngster has allegedly raped a 10-year-old girl at Jandiala Sher Khan about 14 kilometres from here.

‘A’ was going home from her school when ‘S’ bundled her into a car and raped her at a place far away from her house.

The Saddar police are investigating.

PROTEST: Residents of Khanqah Dogran, Mian Ali Gogran and other localities protested in front of the Lesco SDO’s office against alleged negligence of officials on Tuesday.

The protesters said their four buffaloes were electrocuted when a wire fell on them during grazing. They said they had informed the Khanqah Dogran SDO and other officials about the dangerous wire but they did not bother to repair it.

ROBBERY: A businessman was deprived of Rs600,000 by robbers when he was going to his workplace after drawing cash from a bank near Jewanpura on Faisalabad Road.
