LAHORE: An anti-terrorism court on Saturday summoned 50 suspects for their alleged involvement in killing protesters outside the Minhajul Quran Secretariat in Model Town.

Former Sabzazar SHO Amir Saleem and three Elite Force personnel appeared before the court to record their statement.

The SHO stated that a joint investigation team had been probing into the Model Town tragic incident.

He said two cases were registered in connection with the Model Town incident. He said two separate investigations were being conducted in the same case which was illegal.

The ATC summoned the suspects allegedly involved in the incident and ordered them to submit their written statements in next hearing.
