PAKISTAN must accept that no way they can win an ODI by scoring 240-250 and no way they can win any T20 by scoring 140 as they used to do. Times have changed now. You can't play players like Haris, Shehzad, Saad Nasim etc as they can't score fast. You need to score up the order now. Old days of scoring all your runs in the last 10 overs are gone. You need a coach who can understand the need of the day. Bangladesh series is a big way warning. Todays team should have been Sarfraz, Afridi, Hafeez, Mukhtar, Umar Akmal, Rizwan, Maqsood, Wahab, Sohail Tanveer, Umar Gul, Ajmal. Ahmad Shehzad is slow even on ODI standards.

Ajmal, Hafeez and Afridi are gone by forces as spinners. In batting you don't deserve better if your batsmen are like Haris Sohail even if he scores runs. Bring back Umar Akmal and Shoaib Malik.

@Venkat Raman Iyer Afridi should be sacked as skipper and retired by PCB (an unusual retirement) for not using the resources he has properly. Ahmed Shehzad who was not atall performing in ODI's was sent in to open, who laid the foundation for Pakistan's defeat and then the real attackers Sarfraz and Rizwan were made to sit as spectators and Sohail and Tanveer were sent earlier to put last nails in the coffin. On the other hand Bangla's Umpire has also played a role when Afridi was given out wrongly (probably repaying for Aleem Dars decision against Bangladesh in World Cup match against India).

Respect for Bangladesh from this Indian. You are my second favorite team now. Can't wait to have you in India in June.

I saw the match as a neutral observer...my take Pakistan is losing to a mediocre team. Something seriously wrong with them. Having said that I do not understand why Hafeez is in the team. There batting plan for the team also needs to be revised as per modern T20 requirements (which is a lot, to be mentioned in this short space). None of the guides / mentors in the team seem to know that.

Bangladesh won with almost 4 overs to spare, meaning they could have score about 180 runs in 20 overs. That is starting to become the norm. To be competitive the team need to score 160+ and to have better chances 180+.

Pakistan management is incompetent, Tanvir (Avg 9 SR 118) sent in to bat before Sarfraz (Avg 41 SR 113)? Bowling was poor and we can't blame this on youth, these were Seniors: Afridi, Hafeeze, Gul, Ajmal. The batting is simply atrocious, Shehzad was playing test cricket today and he was even bad at that.

The main problem is not Waqar, Azhar Ali, Afridi or Shehzad. The main problem what I saw in the Pakistani cricketers is the lack of attitude, body language and confidence in the field. Whoever the coach is or whatever the coach plans, it doesn't matter, if the 11 players don't show their positive attitude and fast body language in the field, they will definitely not win. Don't forget, at the end of the day, only players play in the field, not the coach!
