QUETTA: A condemned prisoner will be executed in Central Jail, Mach, on Tuesday.

Jail authorities said on Monday that arrangements had been made to carry out the execution.

The family of Riaz Ahmed, the death-row prisoner, held last meeting with him on Monday.

Riaz was awarded death sentence in a murder case by the anti-terrorism court of Turbat.

He was convicted of killing one Taj Mohammad during a robbery attempt in Turbat area of Kech district on Sept 4, 2004.

The ATC issued black warrants for Riaz after his mercy petition was rejected by superior courts.
