Celebrity endorsement is always a good thing for brands right?

And if the UN Secretary General compliments your work, it's an even bigger rush.

Handbag and accessories designer Mahin Hussein had a proud moment when Maleeha Lodhi, Pakistan's recently appointed permanent representative to the United Nations, wore one of her sequined clutches to the UN. The ambassador was presenting her credentials to UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon.

Maleeha Lodhi tweeted the moment, proving she's quite the supporter of Pakistani fashion:

To which Lodhi replied that even Ban Ki-moon had remarked on the eye-catching clutch.

Mahin's sequined clutch is quite the hit with celebrities too.

Oscar-winning filmmaker Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy was also spotted carrying the clutch in 2013:
