RAWALPINDI: A second group of students of the Peshawar Army Public School left for China on Thursday on an educational-cum-recreational tour as part of a rehabilitation programme.

During their 10-day long visit, the students who are accompanied by their parents and teachers will visit major cities including Beijing, Shenzhen, Gongzhour and Hong-Kong and witness historical site.

Before their departure, the Chinese Embassy in Islamabad had arranged a reception for the students, their parents and teachers. The hosts accorded a warm welcome to students.

Major General Qi Huajun, Naval and Military attaché at embassy said on the occasion that the people in China had been deeply ag­grieved by APS terrorist attack and loss of innocent lives.
