ISLAMABAD: Pakistan national ski team will depart for South Korea on Saturday to feature in the Asian Alpine Ski Championship.

The team will return home on March 6, Obaid-ur-Rehman Abbasi, spokesperson of the Ski Federation of Pakistan, said on Wednesday.

He said Pakistan team consisted of two men (Olympian Mohammad Karim and international skier Mir Nawaz) and as many women skiers (Amna Walli and Fatima Sohail). Flt Lt Faraz will accompany the team as coach.

He said the skiers had undergone tough training and were in good shape, adding, “We are expecting positive results from them.”
