Govt willing to form judicial commission: Ishaq Dar

ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister Ishaq Dar said Saturday that the government is willing to form the proposed judicial commission to probe allegations of rigging in the May 2013 elections, adding that it will be formed within the ambit of the Constitution, said a report published on Radio Pakistan.
The minister was addressing a news conference along with Federal Minister for Information Technology Anusha Rehman in the federal capital.
The finance minister said he had written another letter and sent an e-mail as well to the PTI negotiating team containing new definition of the scope of the work of the proposed judicial commission to probe allegations of rigging in the 2013 general elections.
The minister said the new draft had been sent to the PTI a made by the party during latest round of talks on Jan 20.
Dar said the remaining points can be sorted out and the judicial commission can be formed without any delay. He said it is time to sort out the issues as a lot of time had already been consumed.
The PTI had since long been demanding that a judicial commission with special powers be formulated through a presidential ordinance which if finds out that rigging was committed in selected number of constituencies, the government should go home followed by fresh elections.

People of Pakistan have watched your will Mr Dar. We all know how willing PML-N is in making commission. Its been 20 months since you are making this statement and you will never ever make commission. Because you are the man who exactly know what you people did in election 2013.

The problem is that the word 'by design' or saazish as the pmln guys have been asking pti to include in the draft or whatever, hints the adversarial process of law where the final answer will either yes rigging was done or not BY PMLN.
Obviously whatever, PMLn cannot be proved to have rigged the election cause the judge will say no proof was found that PMLn did it as the judge said on the commision report of Na 122. How can they and from where will pti bring proofs. Too clever of PMLn.
This is where the PMLn can not competed with.
The PTI wants it to be inquisitorial process and the report to say that whether the elction was rigged and the election is null and void or repolling or re election at different constituencies.
Both parties should clearly say this.

Well, they have been 'willing' since August 2014.
First, they said PTI should withdraw its demand for resignation. Then, they said PTI should call off its dharna. After Peshawar NS said, PTI's concerns will be addressed. No progress since then. May be NS would form a commission in 2018.
Whats stopping them?

Dar statements are contracdictory, sometimes he says that this demand is unconstitutional and sometimes he says that we are ready to form the commission. They are government, if they want to do so, who can stop him from doing so. They are just bidding their time to make more money and add into our miseries. He is the worst of all finance minister and people are suffering miserably due to him. Pakistan is a walfare state and he is running it like a ruthless capitalist.

Govt wants a commission on its own terms. They want it to prove that rigging was orchestrated. Whilst PTI wants it to prove only that rigging took place. Any civilised democratic govt and political party all over the world would endorse PTI's point of view.
