KARACHI: Two suspected criminals were killed in an encounter with police in the Baghdadi area on Tuesday, according to police.

They added that two men were fleeing after snatching a motorbike on Nawab Mohabbat Khanji Road when a police patrol challenged them. In the ensuing encounter near the Kutiyana Memon Hospital, one suspect was killed on the spot while another was arrested in a wounded condition. He later died at the Civil Hospital Karachi.

The dead men were identified as Abdullah and Walid, the police added.
