30,000 bogus votes detected, says Imran

LAHORE: Pakistan Tahreek-i-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan said on Saturday that 30,000 bogus votes had been detected in the bags during the inspection of NA-122 polling record.
Talking to reporters before his departure for London, Mr Khan said during the recount the forms 14 and 15 were found missing in 100 bags. Besides, three polling stations of the NA-122 (Lahore) had the record of NA-124, he added.
In NA-122, Mr Ayaz Sadiq, who is now the National Assembly speaker bagged over 93,000 votes, beating PTI chairman Imran Khan who got over 84,000 votes, by a margin of some 9,000. Khan had challenged the result in the election tribunal.
The PTI said Mr Sadiq had been hiding behind a court stay order for the last one-and-a-half years in order to avoid votes audit in the constituency.
“The record of returning officers and counterfoil sheets was not matching at 10 polling stations,” he said, adding a thorough investigation would expose the “massive rigging”.
Mr Khan reiterated his party’s demand for constitution of a judicial commission to probe in the the alleged rigging in 2013 elections.

You are cent percent correct that there are pressing problems faced by Pakistan and the mother of all problems is that these problems are being dealt by an incompetent prime minister who is sitting at that position due to a stolen mandate. Their mandate is not to serve people but to fill their pockets. The actions we see happening these days are not because they want to see a peace in the country, but because of constant pressure from armed forces. If our armed forces wouldn’t have inserted this pressure, our prime minister would be on a foreign tour by now.
The problems are pressing, that is reason why we need honest leadership, not the one that is following Zardari doctrine, by virtue of which there is no opposition in our country, as all opposition parties are allowed to plunder Pakistan in the name of national reconciliation

Let the official results come. Stance of 'MAIN NA MANOON' is not right. The bogus votes could have gone in anyone's favour. Or they could be invalid votes due to mistakes of voters. Increase in margin reflects that. it is not a new phenomena and could not be used to reject results as they were not as per someones liking. There were two dynasties so far as termed by IK; now third one has come up; the IK dynasty; even PTI office bearers are dismissed if they object to high handedness of his family members or act against. What a democracy in the party? Where is the difference?
Where we go wrong is that even a good thing of an opponent is wrong; and a wrong action by our favourite is right. Let us be realistic; appreciate good job and oppose bad acts by any, irrespective of our affiliations. Place Pakistan before self please. This is my humble request to the honest, straightforward, and brave youth of Pakistan. Do analyse the attractive slogans too, and any real chances of their materialization.

What IK is saying is true. We all know they are rigged elections. We all know NS will never allow the honest inquiry commission. BUT what IK and the party is doing is not good either. A province where exigency is required from all directions is getting no attention at all from the elected party. This is a very critical situation and IK will see the party downfall if he doesn't justice with the province.

Apart from the allegations related to election rigging, there are more important issues on which the policy and view of PTI needs to be reiterated. The views of PTI about terrorist organizations - mainly TTP; the take on local government elections in KPK; the polio vaccination updates in KPK; status of PTI legislators in the national assembly; coordination of KPK government with federal government and the performance review of KPK government since past 18 months are vital questions that must be answered.
Mr Khan should find some time to inform the people of Pakistan on the above and more issues objectively. The only honest member of their party was Mr Javed Hashmi who resigned and contested the elections and then went back home by gracefully accepting the election results. The turncoats that adorn the left and right flanks of Mr Khan should hang their heads in shame, especially the other politician from Multan.

If PTI lost by a margin of 9000 and if there were 30,000 bogus votes found then it is clear that Mr. Speaker may not have won and that is why he is taking stay after stay from courts, to avoid re-counting. Imran Khan is right.

It is shocking that 30,000 bogus votes were discovered in the ballot bags with some counter foils not matching CNIC numbers coupled with vote count of Constituent number 124 added to Constituent number 122. If all of that is tallied, the 100 bags with Form 14 and 15 missing, 30,000 bogus votes, the intent to defraud the voters is established, sufficient for ECP to call it a nay.

Honesty and integrity are not the only requirements for good political leadership. Political competence also counts. In addition, there is no boundary between 'personal' and 'public' space when it comes to integrity. Either a person has integrity or they do not. If IK really is as honest and upright that you claim him to be, then he should come clean about his personal life as well.
