RAWALPINDI: Not a single party showed interest in the auction of fee collection contract for Murree general bus stand.

The Punjab government has reconstructed the general bus stand at Murree with a facility of a cafe.

No body was even interested in running the cafe.

A committee led by Executive District Officer Finance and planning Talat Mehmood Gondal supervised the auction on Friday at District Coordination Office and offered fee collection contract for Rs3 million and cafe for Rs150,000.

Three parties arrived at the venue but they did not participate in the process while terming the official rate higher.

After this situation, the committee postponed the auction and new dates will be announced in few days.
