SUKKUR: The Pakistan Sunni Tehreek (PST) organised rallies against militant outfit Daish in Sukkur, Jacobabad, Larkana, Mirpurkhas and some other towns after Juma prayers to express solidarity with the armed forces in its war against terrorism.

Participants in the rally taken out from old Sukkur marched through the streets of the city raising slogans against Daish and held a demonstration outside the local press club.

In Jacobabad, PST activists led by Syed Aijaz Ali Shah and Maulvi Ali Mardan took part in a rally taken out from the Abdun Nabi Shah shrine.

They ended the rally outside the local press club, where they held a sit-in.

They called for a decisive military operation against terrorist organisations like Taliban and Daish to restore complete peace in the country.

LARKANA: Local chapter of the PST took out a procession against Daish from a mosque after Juma prayers.

Maulana Ali Nawaz Qasmi led the protesters, who were carrying banners expressing solidarity with the army.

MIRPURKHAS: Several hundred people took part in an anti-Daish rally taken out in Mirupurkhas by PST workers on Friday.

The participants marched from the city’s railway station to the local press club raising slogans calling for a final strike on Taliban and Daish by the armed forces.

Mohammed Amin Qadri and Mohammed Ali Chishti led the rally.

They told the participants that terrorism had claimed several thousand lives of innocent people across the country and it was time for the armed forces to employ all available resources to root out the menace.
