KARACHI: The all-Sindh National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) Cup basketball tournament begins at the Arambagh floodlit court on Thursday with 12 local and outstation teams competing for honours.

The teams have been equally divided into four groups and top two from each will make it to the last eight.

The quarter-finals will be played on Dec 1 and 2 followed by the semi-finals on Dec 3. The event concludes with the final on Dec 4.

According to draws, three matches are on card for the opening day.

Thursday’s fixtures:

At 7pm: District Central v District Malir Whites.

At 8pm: District East Whites v District West.

At 9pm: District Malir Greens v District South Greens.
