KARACHI: The Sindh chief of Pakistan Rangers gave on Wednesday ‘shoot at sight’ orders to members of the paramilitary force to maintain law and order during Muharram, said a Rangers spokesperson.
The order was issued after a high-level meeting at the Rangers headquarters which reviewed security arrangements for Majalis and mourning processions.
Rangers DG Maj Gen Bilal Akbar directed the troops to immediately engage those trying to sabotage peace and harmony during the Muharram rituals, said the official.
