She conducted a raid and arrested the suspects, who were about to start day’s work,” CDGL’s Livestock District Officer Ghulam Husain told Dawn.

He said the team also seized bones and fat of dead animals besides recovering some utensils. Mr Hussain further said the team found a dead horse and buried it.

PRICES: Price control magistrates on Saturday arrested 11 shopkeepers for hoarding and overcharging. They also imposed heavy fines on several others.

Meanwhile, a spokesman claimed the CDGL teams completed dengue surveillance of over 41,000 houses in the city.
