LAHORE: A man allegedly shot dead his wife and an 11-month-old son for honour in the Ram Gali area of Naulakha on Wednesday.

City SP Asad Sarfraz said suspect Sajjad opened fire on his wife around 6am. Bullets also struck their youngest son, Amman. He said the woman and her son succumbed to their wounds at Mayo Hospital

The SP said the suspect was taken into custody along with a revolver.

Police after autopsy handed over the bodies to next of kin.

Preliminary police inquiries showed Sajjad suspected that his wife had an affair with the brother-in-law of his brother.
