KARACHI: Athletes from Sindh came out on top as the Special Olympics Pakistan (SOP) National Games concluded here on Sunday with over 250 special athletes from across the country taking part.
Results: Cycling:
5km: 1. Ahmed Noor (Sindh); 2. Touseeful Hasan (Sindh).
1km: 1. Imran Ghaffar (Islamabad); 2. Hasan Ali Khan (Sindh).
Athletics:
400m: 1. Shahid Nadeem (Sindh); 2. Konain (Sindh); 3. Nadeem Akhter (Sindh).
Badminton:
Women’s: 1. Bakhtawar; 2. Umme Salma; 3. Sana Javed.
Men’s: 1. Jehanzaib Iqbal; 2. Dawud Ali; 3. Junaid Bashir.
Basketball:
Men’s: 1. Sindh; 2. Islamabad; 3. Punjab.
