KHUZDAR: A sessions judge and his driver were killed and his son and a colleague injured in a road accident on Saturday, police said,

Sessions judge of Khuzdar Mohammad Iqbal Shahwani, his son Hasibur Rehman and sessions judge Awaran Ejaz Ahmed were going to Quetta to celebrate Eid when a truck coming from the opposite direction hit their car in Nigher area of Surab in Kalat district, police said.

Mr Shahwani and his driver Anwar Amin were killed and Mr Rehman and Mr Ahmed injured.

The injured were shifted to the Combined Military Hospital, Quetta.

Police registered a case against the truck driver who fled the scene after the accident.
