The announcement was made by Chief Minister Pervez Khattak while talking to a 45-member delegation of IDPs from Khyber Agency that called on him under the leadership of MNA Shehryar Afridi here at the CM Secretariat on Thursday. The CM was apprised of the miserable conditions of about 5,000 affected families of these two camps.

He said that all residents of Fata were equally important for the KP government. However, he said that the sudden launch of operation in North Waziristan and emergency situation of its IDPs diverted concentration of his government to their accommodation and settlement. He said that with the cooperation of Pakistan Army durable peace was being established in the whole tribal belt and the IDPs would soon be repatriated to their houses. He said that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government would also extend full assistance in their rehabilitation.
