Balochistan CM elected with bogus votes: Imran

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Sunday said that Balochistan Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch was elected through rigging and bogus votes.
The PTI chief made the claim while speaking to PTI supporters in Islamabad’s D Chowk.
He said that 600 votes of the opposing candidate to Dr Abdul Malik Baloch disappeared, and that the returning officer was changed in the poll to ensure Baloch won the election.
The PTI chief said during his speech that if a proper investigation was conducted on rigging in the election, the first culprit would be Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, the second former chief justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, while the third culprit would be Najam Sethi, the caretaker Punjab CM during the election.
He also claimed that former prime minister Zafarullah Khan Jamali won the NA 266 seat through vote rigging and that 24,000 bogus votes were among his tally.
Imran Khan also said that the country’s rulers were liars who were shifting the cancellation of the Chinese president’s visit on him.
He said by allegedly offering him a position as deputy prime minister they put a small price on him.
“I am not the deputy prime minister, but God has given me some dignity…If I wanted power then I would have been a weak opponent of the government,” said Imran Khan.

We are not hearing ANY denials from the named persons. Letter from the RO and then his transfer does raise a lot of questions. Enough that government either should investigate ASAP or ther should be some sort of statement / denial -- anything ? Or may be the inkeshaaf came as a big surprise and for a moment CM Balochistan and PMLN are still thinking about some excuse not to open up that constituency. After all their CM can get disqualified.

Is there any end to his allegations. We are listening to him repeating same things over and over again but yet without any evidence. If he had any evidence of rigging why he is hiding it. Mr. IK is loosing his credibility in the eyes of the people how long he can fool people merely on assumptions of allegation and falsehood. If he keeps crying wolf time is not distant when nobody will listen to him.

All we hear is that they are not willing to open up the investigation. You've been asking for for proof. What do you call this ? Suspicious enough that it should be checked?

Mr. Imran Khan has failed to realize that the last Ghaddari, Baghawat, rebellion, mutiny against Government of Pakistan was by people of the present Bangla Desh and they only succeeded due to intervention and military support of India. That was the first and last rebellion against Government of Pakistan. Today no foreign country will dare to provide military support to rebels to fight nuke-armed Pakistan. Creating excuses of vote rigging to topple government will never work as people are sick and tired of demonstrations, marches, sit-ins, damage to government properties, road blocks, Dharna, threats, intimidation and disorderly behaviors.

It is time for Imran Khan and TAQ to vacate the 'D Chowk' and end their dharnas, if the opposition parties and CJ gives the guarantee for electoral reforms and the inquiry into the Model Town FIR. The judicial committee must be given the complete power to verify the 30 or so constituencies without interference. Imran Khan and TAQ should give a time frame for these inquiries and reforms. If the government don't show any sincerity and there is no outcome after 2 or 3 months, the protestors can come back to the 'D Chowk' and there is civil dis-obedience all over the country. This time JI, PML(Q) and MQM will be with them.
I humbly request Dawn to print this and forward a copy to both Imran Khan and TAQ as a proposal from a citizen of Pakistan.

I'm appalled by the apathetic comments regarding IK. It just goes to show how apathetic the whole society is not wanting to do anything about bogus prime minister and his cronies. PMLN had 6.8m votes in the previous elections and they end up with 15m. in these elections. Someone has to make a stand and if I was in Pakistan I would be there should to shoulder with IK. Instead of blaming IK go there and stnad with him ..The country deserves .

Stop pointing fingers on others. Stop all Azzadi marches, these marches effected important visit of Chinese's Prime minister, would have bought lot of business to Pakistan. Egypt economy went down to drain with these azzadi marches so did in Thailand. Military should move in stop all the azzadi marches like they did in Thailand and Egypt. People should go to some Fixed places and do their speeches, BUT not to block the government work and economy. If elected government does nothing and bring corruption like the previous regime, they should be taken to Court system. Military rule is still better than all these corrupt elected officials.

I have one advise for Imran Khan - go back to your children in England. Go back and enjoy your life and if your nature keeps forcing you to do something good, then build some hospitals and some schools systems for the poor of this country. Our politics are too dirty too complicated for you or for any other sane and honest person to succeed in. The govt, the opposition, the institutions are all in it together. Both dynastic families have fortunes abroad, properties, businesses, billions of dollars and yet they are respected and supported by democratic powers who think you will be too truthful to 'handle'. So don't wate your energy and your beautiful successful life trying to revolutionise this country because nearly every person is corrupt in his own domain and if you don't agree try getting just one cup of unaltered, pure milk from any milk shop in any of Pakistani city or town. Milk from an animal not injected with harmons. If you succeed then I am wrong and there is hope. If not the leave the mess and don't spoil rest of your life here.

Weather IK is right or wrong, Nawaz Sharif has been proven inadequate by beeing sent home during his previous 2 terms and is once again on the verge of being proven in adequate. 30 years in Punjab, they have failed in bringing literacy level anywhere close to satisfactory is the least I can say about their will to make a difference for the "better" in Pakistan. Even if IK is wrong about rigging, Mian Sahab needs to go!

He has been going to post to pillar for fourteen months and not even a single report has been registered. So what do you do, come out and let the public decide. If anyone has questions about Imran or any of the PTI member's election, they should bring it forward. Imran would never say no to that but he doesn't have anything to hide unlike the N league. Could it be that NS wanted PTI to be in KPK, the province with the most difficult situation? Could it he NS wanted him to be in KPK so that he can make PTI governments life difficult because so many things are not in control of Provincial Gov?
