MULTAN: Jamaat-i-Islami emir Sirajul Haq says some people want to do politics of dead bodies and are waiting for the political crisis to worsen.

Addressing party workers here on Friday, he said the delay in resolving the issue would lead towards damage and both the parties should come forward to find out its solution in light of the Constitution.

"I visited each politician of the country to resolve the issue during the last 22 days but in vain," he said.

He said he had suggested a wayout to Dr Qadri and Imran Khan for honourable return of the participants in their sit-ins. However, he did not disclose his suggestion. He said that all the political parties should sign an agreement for free, fair and transparent elections in the future.

The JI emir said constituting new provinces was not unconstitutional and there was nothing wrong to create new provinces as many as there could be. He said accountability could not be done during the last 67 years as the rulers were not ready for the accountability of each other. He said the country was under the burden of loans and poverty due to the corruption.
