TAXILA: Pakistan Ordnance Factories (POF) on Thursday paid tributes to its 70 employees who lost their lives in the twin suicide blasts on August 21, 2008.

Observing sixth anniversary, the POF organised an impressive ceremony at Yadgar-e-Shuhada. POF Chief Lt-Gen Mohammad Ahsan Mahmood laid floral wreath at the monument.

Addressing on this occasion to the family members of the deceased employees, POF Chief reaffirmed the pledge that they would not let the employees sacrifices to go waste and make the defence of the motherland invincible.

He also distributed Rs15,000 each among family of the slain POF employees.
