KARACHI: Two PPP activists were shot dead in Orangi Town on Friday night.

Wazir Ali and Ghulam Nabi were sitting at a restaurant in Qasba Colony when armed men on a motorcycle fire at them, said West SSP Irfan Baloch. They were taken to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital where doctors pronounced them dead.

He said one of the deceased had enmity which might be motive behind the attack.

Local PPP leader Sohail Abidi said the slain men were workers of the party from the constituency of PS-96.

Wazir had also remained a councillor in the area.
