Both PPP and PML-N is really scared now because they know the public is behind IK and long march will confirm that. It s time for both these parties to pack up because people are sick of them holding this country back. They have done nothing but to increase miseries of the common man.

PPP and PML_N people doesn't allow anyone to speak inside the parliament... Even mike is being turned off for other parties... On top of that Nawaz hardly comes to there... Y do u expect others to come.. Till the this family rule is not going to end...people will suffer...

PTI has been doing exactly this for last one year or so in parliament and through ECP , judiciary , NADRA but nothing came out of it. Unfortunately, million march is now the last resort. Being leader of opposition, Mr Khursheed should know the ground realities. But again its a established fact the both PPP and PML(N) got this understanding under the blessing of foreign powers to rule Pakistan and take turns and rub each other backs.

Sir, you are a senior politician. You should know that the only reason Imran Khan is doing all the hue and cry about rigging is meant to keep is young and highly expecting following engaged. If he just plays role of a Parliamentary opposition party just like your party, his nascent voters will leave him because of petty performance of his party's government in KPK. So, he will continue to do these publicity gimmicks to keep hopes of his voters high.

@Sana I have no problem if people give this pack up message in elections. Any unconstitutional steps are not good for the country. Good or bad, the present government should last five years. In the next election, give people a chance to judge the parties and give their verdict.

IK is insane..his desire to become PM through hook or crook will take him no where... he is being used and will realize soon ,, even he is successfull in bringing down the govt what's next...?

When Mr Khursheed Shah himself is conceding that Parliament is not stable, then how he is inviting IK to discuss his grievances in the Parliament ? 2) When the issue of rigging is not in the domain of the govt nor the Parliament but Election Tribunal, then what IK will discuss in the Parliament 3) but for arguments sake, if IK at all goes to the Parliament where PML N has 2/3rd majority, you think he will be listened ? 4) IK / PTI has been forced to adopt extreme measure when his & his party`s demand for verification of thumb impression in 4 constituencies has not been taken up by the ET till today, even after 1 year of election.

If the government were serious they would have moved to the recount of the questioned constituencies but they are trying to put pressure by using old friends PPP.

We are tired of PMNL and PPP muk muka. PPP is supporting PMLN and they in return has agreed not to pursue corruption cases against them hard enough but will do cursory work to fool people.

First of all let me make in clear that I don't belong to PTI or any other political party in the "land of the pure." Secondly, I am neither related to nor affiliated with any politician or his/her political party. Nevertheless, I must state that unfortunately, the so-called parliament in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan is in essence insignificant, impotent, powerless, useless and ineffective to say the least. Secondly, majority of the members of parliament in Islamabad are either corrupt or got in because of dubious elections due to many similar "35-puncture" episodes. Last but not the least, there are very few members of parliament in Islamabad who could have the guts as well as the grit to vote on a certain bill based on merit and merit only and almost all of them are unable to call spade a spade. What a tragedy? Therefore, what else Imran Khan could do to seek true justice except a long march? After all the current Prime Minister and his brother were also involved in a long march in the past. So how could they oppose the democratic right of Imran Khan to at least try to gather one million people in Islamabad to effect a change? Who is right and who is wrong? I leave the answer to the enlightened, educated, enduring and excelling readers and writers of this great DAWN forum.

The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader also alleged that the Model Town tragedy in Lahore was the result of incompetence on part of Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif. If Khurshid Shah really means it, then why he is not joining others in asking for Showbaaz's resignation? Incompetent people should be sacked and made to pay for their crimes.

Discuss in parliament till 5 yrs are lapsed and nothing is done except enjoying iftar parties and teas. Bogus leader of bogus party...

They know very well that IK went to the Parliament and spoke countless times but nothing came out of it, just announcment of one committe which days have went ahead and still not formed yet, he went to election tribunals, election comission but none of them listened to him becas of PMLN pressure...so they know very well he tried all legall doors but nothing fruitful came out of it...so this long march is legitemate and appropriate. I pity those people who think that IK is going for a long march to derail democracy and economy, since yu lot dont know that he just demanded recounting of 4 constituencies and all these constituencies holders are big PMLN MNAs, and have taken stay orders countless times to abort recounting and even changed the Nadra Chairman by force who was actually going for recounting. If the federal government had accepted these demands then they wouldn't have been facing such problems today, but this sums it all up, that whos the Rat between the leg. The reason Khurseed Shah saying this all is because like all Status Quo party who aren't in favour of the long march is because they know it very well that PPP and MQM did massive rigging in Sindh, and don't want the electoral process to be changed and to be replaced with Biometric electronic voting system, and the day it is implemented the working pace of the gov of PPP and MQM in Sindh PMLN in Punjab and Center will change indirectly if it happens today, cause they know that they wont be able to cheat or rigg the election......simple logic if u people still can't understand then Allah hee Hafiz Apka.

Anyone who supports PMLN and/or PPP is not sincere with Pakistan, and is a hindrance to progress of the country. People who are saying that nothing will come out of Azadi March are also pejorative and pessimist. Everyone should support IK as he is at least trying to overhaul this tried and failed so called Democratic system. We need to get rid of these corrupt old parties who have been in power so many times and yet condition of this country has not improved one bit infact gotten worse. If Azadi March or any effort by any individual to make this country move in right direction fails, it is going to be fault of people of Pakistan, who themselves are corrupt and sluggish and dont want any kind of positive change. Shame on anyone who supports PMLN and/or PPP!

why this fake opposition leader Khurshid Shah even bothers talking, every one knows him and that PPP and PML/N are one party. I feel good the day I don't see his face or hear from this phony man.
