LAHORE: A meeting of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif with Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan is under way in Lahore on Saturday, DawnNews reported.
The meeting, which is being held at the premier's Raiwind residence, was also attended by Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif.
Speaking to Nisar, the premier alluded to the interior minister's reservations and said that the latter gets easily upset. To this, the minister responded by saying "we are only upset with those close to us".
Sources privy to the details emerging from the meeting said Nisar complained that the prime minister had not taken him into confidence over crucial decisions. Upon this, the premier said that the minister should let go of his grievances and return to work.
The conversation took a lighter tone when both exchanged smiles over the prime minister's reference to his telephone calls that Nisar had apparently not been taking.
During the meeting, the country's political situation as well as matters of mutual interest were discussed.
Shahbaz had brought the interior minister to Lahore today for a meeting with the premier.
PM Nawaz had chaired a meeting of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leadership yesterday which was skipped by Nisar over some misunderstandings.
Reports of a rift in the PML-N have been circulating in the media according to which differences have developed between the party leadership and Nisar.
Party sources claimed that besides being unhappy over the government’s handling of the case of Pervez Musharraf, the minister was also jittery over non-allocation of funds for the internal security policy in the federal budget.

The ways of democracy are well known to every one - if you have difference of opinion with your leader, either to accept the opinion of the majority or resign. No fun in opening this circus of accepting third party mediation. The sky would not come down if you are not a Minister, you can otherwise be part of the party as its member.

Nisar is the only competent senior member of the party, Nawaz would be wise to keep him close and keep him happy. Nisar's grievances were -wanted to let President Musharaf leave for the govt to be focused on major national issues, timing of attack on north waziristan done without his knowledge, more funds for interior ministry to protect pakistan. All valid reasons.

Imran Khan PTI one man show -- so is this Qadri circus - Tanga parties like Sheikh Rasheed , Chauwdries , these are one person show - albeit elected over and over again by the people who complains and expect different results. From time to time - I get a glimpse of the MNA and other leaders -- by watching them on tv shows - I can guess - what educational standard of these people - how competent these are - and what kind of results to expect. For example FATA MNA was talking about Polio virus being spread by American drones -- Hamid --so called defense specialist was talking on tv show that Nawaz Shareef is selling geography of Pakistan -- nonsense of the highest order ..These kind of people elected and brought on the talk shows to represent the Nation -- which prides to be nuclear power .. But we jump to compare with countries which have very little in common .The public in general here displays great civic sense, a great affinity to patriotism, a great love human values etc. where as in Pakistan , generally speaking, it is free for all, each person thinks of himself as better Prime Minister than the PM himself, each of us is a chaudri unwilling to accept any one as leader,we are proud of breaking laws against USA where most people respect laws. Think of Imran and the latest arrival from Canada, TQ, both determined to overthrow the legitimately established government. There is a parliament in the country but Khan has to collect one million people merely as show of strength. He knows but little that most people attending his rallies go there not because they love him but they are wary of the incumbents who could not deliver upto their expectations; not that any one else can under the circumstances.

Why nobody noticed the Helicopter in the above news, ? This helicopter is not a personal property of Nawaz family or Chaudary Nisar. This private journey is actually paid by the Tax payers of Pakistan. The so called Austerity is now evident from the fact that in order to solve Personal Differences our Politicians are using Dedicated Helicopters paid from the pockets of the Pakistani people. Also this is the height of non-Professionalism that interior ministry is NARAAZ while our Country is at War. Chaudary Nisar is just proving that for Politicians their Personal Interests are more important than National Interests.

Why don't we reconcile with the fact that PML(N), PPP are dynastic political parties. Rest of the party top echelon are no more than camp followers. Sharif family runs PML(N) and Zardar- Bhutto family runs PPP. Sometime one of the camp followers gets upset but who cares, he usually comes back. Choudhry Nisar will be back, acting as usual the point man of Sharif brothers.

Nawaz , Chief Ministers & his ministers can be tried in Court of law because they have taken oath to uphold the Constitution & serve the country. They are misusing tax payers money & wasting time.
