@NHM India is indebted to him for the services he has done for his motherland. We will make all resources available for Mir to live his life comfortably along with his wife and children. I we need him further, we can take more of his services for the nation like our another son of the soil Tarik Fateh is doing for mother India. Jai Hind

Why mention his flight details and personal information? Why are people curious to know whether he left with his family or alone. A simple "he left for medical treatment" would have sufficed. Why do we need to know that much about his personal life?

Oh puleez. He is one of the top TV personalities in Pakistan. I am sure he is paid more than enough for his show! Use your common sense, everyone is so cynical these days. I hope he gets well soon. His injuries must have been quite severe for him to seek further treatment abroad.

Hamid Mir names is son "Yasser Arafat" in honor of the now-proven corrupt palestinian who had his own wife and daughter enjoy life in Paris while he trained other people's children to become suicide bombers. Then Mir sends his son to UK to benefit from the fruits of western civilization, while himself conducting pro-terrorist and anti-west propaganda in Pakistan.

@hidayat Even ex - JI amir's son studied in USA, BB all children studied where ? public school in Larkana? Ik children are studing in Public school in Tobateksingh? Qadiri doing his medical checkups in Toronto - and Fasaad in Islamabad. Mir works for a private tv channel - private tv channel survives due to ratings -not by rants like you . Get real. Now MIR will beam programs from London - BBC, Aljazeera , etc -- start columns in other major outlets - how Govt of Pakistan or PEMRA - WILL GOING TO SILENCE HIM ? In this day and age - news travel much faster than the speed of sound - those of you who thinks that it can be stopped - censure it - or block it - lives in fools paradise . As the other reader commented - now Mir will be showered with awards and stay in lime light - and will be covered and heard more than before. Now people will listen to him and believe him more than before. His opponents further isolated and put on more defensive ..Firing six bullets was not a good idea
