Operation launched in Turbat, allege Baloch parties

QUETTA: The Baloch Human Rights Organisation (BHRO), Baloch National Movement and the outlawed Baloch Students Organisation-Azad have alleged that a military operation was launched in Shabiq area of Turbat district on Sunday.

In separate statements issued on Monday, the three organisations said that several people had been taken into custody, dozens of houses set on fire and women and children beaten up.

They appealed to the United Nations and international human rights organisations to take notice of what they called serious human rights violations in Balochistan.

The BHRO said that Seth Nasir Baloch, Master Javed, Hasan Baloch, Master Sadir Baloch and Asa Baloch had been taken into custody.

The organisations claimed that similar operations had been conducted also in Awaran and Pangur areas.

They said if the detained people had done anything wrong they should be produced before a court of law.

The govt should launch operation wherever there is terror, whether be it Waziristan or Balochistan. No special treatment for any one.

The army needs to be careful when launching any operation in Balochistan as the consequences could be grave. There is a stark difference between the TTP and the people of Balochistan. I do agree that if the army is rounding up people on the suspecious of terrorism then they should be produced before the court of law.

i don't understand why BSO-Azad, BHRO & BNM failed to raise there voice when innocents are killed by BLA terrorists or trains are attacked or Quaid's residency is burnt to ashes. This bias behavior has lead to the loss of credibility of these organizations.

These organizations have this to say only about Military. Firstly is military free enough just to go there and detain people for fun. clearly either what they allege is untrue or if the military has detained them than they must have done something to call it upon them.

The incident of kidnaping Judicial Magistrate should also be reported to UN for his human rights violation for doing his job in remote area of Baluchistan. Where are BSO, BRA and BLA condemning who are running to UN for so-called military action in Turbot? These organizations are terrorizing people in the Baluchistan in the name of stealing riches of Baluchistan by non-Baluchi

This is the time when the army needs full support of the nation. A lot is at stake. Terrorists need to be eliminated wherever they are. No room should be given to those who take instruction from outsiders as indeed some baloch terrorists do.

These Balochi separatists have blackmailed and threatened the government in the past and have been involved in terrorist activities including hijacking. Hunt every terrorist, from Peshawar to Lahore to Karachi. An incomplete operation won't succeed and civilians should contact authorities regarding any extremists trying to live amongst them

If these banned organisations stop taking funds from foreign spy agencies and take up their issue with the government and approach independent parties like PTI and PAT , they will have the whole nation behind them in their grievances. But doing Modi's RAW bidding will lose them everything.
