FC man killed in Bajaur explosion

PESHAWAR: One FC soldier was killed and another was injured in a roadside blast on Saturday in the Nawagai tehsil of northwestern Pakistan's Bajaur tribal region.

According to political sources, the FC personnel were passing by when the improvised explosive device was detonated. The slain soldier and his injured colleague were shifted to a hospital.

Immediately after the incident, security forces took control of the area and launched a search operation.

Meanwhile, security forces defused two bombs, one on North Waziristan's Ghulam Khan road and one in Hangu's Doaba area.
