JS Bank introduces mobile banking app

KARACHI: JS Bank has launched JS Mobile, the country’s first Android application for mobile banking, according to a press release.

Using the app, customers can know their account balances, generate mini-statement, pay utility bills and transfer funds to another JS Bank account or to any other bank through IBFT.

Moreover, customers can also pay mobile bills and load balances for all five service providers.

If i am not wrong SCB Pakistan was the first one to launch their mobile app for both android and IOS with the name as "Breeze". This news needs a correction !

Not to burst anyone's bubble, Standard Chartered has had Breeze for a while. That's another thing that the name "Breeze" was just silly and hard for users to find. Maybe it's not on Android yet and JS is the first. Not sure.

please note that ABL also has a mobile app '' ABL Mobi" which is available on Google play. This news definitely needs correction...

Stanchart introduced apps years ago. It is not right to say JS is the first to introduce a mobile app for banking.

@SKR Breeze is not an app for android (its for iOS). For android, you have to open your browser and point to m.sc.com/pk. So maybe this is the first android app. For SCB, I don't know what's keeping them from launching an android app. Its available on Google play for India, Kenya, hong Kong, Malaysia etc but not for Pak!
