LAHORE: Pakistan U-19 team recorded a massive 159-run triumph against Lancaster University in a Twenty20 match at the Gaddafi Stadium here on Saturday.

Batting first, Pakistan U-19s posted a huge 204-5 in the stipulated 20 overs. Kamran Ghulam and skipper Sami Aslam batted well for the side scoring 99 and 60 respectively. Sam Dyson captured four wickets for Lancaster.

Lancaster University, in reply, crumbled to 45 all out in 12.2 overs. Sam Walsh (23) top-scored for the side. Zafar Gohar and Karamat Ali captured three wickets each for Pakistan U-19 while Zia-ul-Haq took two.

Lancaster University team these days are on a visit to Pakistan for an inter-varsity cricket tournament.
