LAHORE: Former Punjab Squash Association (PSA) secretary Malik Nasim-ul-Haq has challenged PSA elections in the Lahore High Court.

Requesting the court to hold re-election, Nasim in his writ petition said polls of the PSA (respondent No. 2) held by the Punjab Sports Board (PSB) (respondent No.1) on Jan 8, 2013 may kindly be declared illegal and void.

He also said that as the audited statement is not true reflection of the receipts and utilization of funds/donations, therefore, it may be declared illegal and PSA be ordered to conduct transparent audit and till then it be restrained from carrying out any kind of transaction/expenditure/spending.

He further prayed that that the PSB and Pakistan Squash Federation (PSF) (respondent No.3) be directed to vet the constitution (Memorandum) and strike out all those clauses which are against the sports policy.
