KARACHI: The Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Federation (PBSF) set up a 10-day training camp for the India-bound junior cueists which commenced at the PSB Sports Complex in Islamabad on Thursday.

The PBSF has named veteran world amateur snooker champion Mohammad Yousuf as coach-cum-camp commandant. He will also accompany the team to Chandigarh.

The team is due to leave to Chandigarh from Lahore through Wagah on April 2 to compete in the Asian under-21 snooker championship.

The PBSF has already submitted visa applications of players and officials to the Indian High Commission in Islamabad for the issuance of visas.

The four cueists who will travel to India and attending the camp are Mohammad Majid Ali, Mohammad Haris Nadeem, Hamza Akbar and Amir Tariq.
