Sometimes we focus so much the gossipy side to showbiz that we tend to overlook the genuine talent that exists amidst us. One such talent is Mobin Gabol.

The comedian is a master at mimicry which can be seen, and vouched for, on the TV show BNN. His range is extraordinary. Not only does he impersonate political figures but he also mimics film actors to a T. He is perhaps the closest to aping Shahrukh Khan and brilliant at imitating politicians some of whom are not easy to mimic.

The only thing that’s perhaps lacking in Mobin G’s repertoire is genuinely funny scripts to go with his impersonations. Still, it is thoroughly enjoyable to see him provide us with laughs at a time when genuine laughs are hard to come by.
