ARY founder Haji Abdul Razzaq passes away

KARACHI: Founder of ARY Group Haji Abdul Razzaq Yaqoob passed away after a protracted illness on Friday, according to the group's news website.

The owner and chief executive officer of a prominent business group in Pakistan, which includes gold trading, communications and the television network, Haji Abdul Razzaq Yaqoob was born on May 7, 1944.

Haji Abdul Razzaq was also a philanthropist and remained the head of the World Memon Organisation (WMO).
