Sunday the third of Novmeber marks the beginning of the five day festival of Diwali. Known as the festival of lights, Diwali is one of the most significant festivals in Hinduism. It marks the home coming of the God Lord Ram after vanquishing the demon king Ravana, thus symbolising the victory of good over evil.
