ISLAMABAD: India has agreed to hand over copies of the two important speech-recordings of Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah to Pakistan.

The Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation had requested for the recordings of the founder of Pakistan Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah's famous August 11, 1947 address to Pakistan's Constituent Assembly, which he delivered in Karachi.

In an interview, Director General All India Radio Leeladhar Mandloi said the Indian Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has given a green signal for handing over the recordings to Pakistan, Radio Pakistan reported on Sunday.
