Mother

No one is as great as a mother,

She is the best of all others,

No one can sacrifice like a mother,

That’s why paradise lies

Under the feet of a mother!

Blessed are the hands of a mother,

As they care for us

Much more than any other!

The care by a mother is like

The fragrance of a flower;

Luckiest is the person,

Who’s blessed with a mother!

Do obey and respect your mother,

As you will succeed

By the prayers of a mother!

Music that you sing to me,

Oh! Everything that you do for me,

Thank you for all the work you do for me,

Hope that I can repay you,

Even if I seem to always hurt you,

Read in my heart these words for you...

Oh my dear mother,

I love you!

You are always there when

day is rising,

You love and hug me every morning,

I love you mom,

Please be there for me,

Oh my dear mother,

I love you!

My father

I love my father,

He is very nice to me,

He loves me,

He often goes to bazaar,

And brings many toys for me!

He never scolds me,

He always helps me,

My father is polite and lovely,

I love my father,

He is a role model for me.

My favourite teacher!

She is my teacher,

And I am her student,

Whatever I am it is just because of her!

She works hard for me,

And I obey her commands,

I like her very much,

And she likes me very much,

I am the apple of her eye,

And she is like a superstar for me,

She is my best teacher,

And I am her best student!

I wish…

I wish to be bold,

And no more shy!

I wish to seek the path,

Leading to the sky!

I want to be the one,

Whom people would like!

I wish to be that person,

Who never fails in life!

I really want to be

A brilliant and brave girl!

I wish to challenge people

From all around the world!

So whatever I wish,

I’ve just told you.

I hope that my wishes

Will soon come true!

Summer vacation

Happy summer vacation everybody,

Do everything very merrily,

Ride on horses,

Always play lacrosse,

To polish your skills and become wise,

Eat good food such as rice,

Take photographs,

Give autographs,

And enjoy summer vacation,

Happy vacation to everybody,

Stay happy and merry.

Summer vacation is here,

Make the most of this time,

Help your mother in the kitchen,

Make her happy,

But don’t forget the fun,

Enjoy as much as you can,

Go out and have fun,

But avoid being too long

Under the sun!

My little garden

My house has a beautiful garden,

The garden has trees and flowers,

It has a variety of colourful flowers,

Yellow, purple, black and red roses!

My garden is full of fragrance

And natural beauty;

When I roam in my garden,

I feel refreshed and happy.

In the early morning,

I walk in the garden,

In the evening,

I enjoy a cup of tea in my garden.

I sit under the shady trees

During summer nights,

The garden looks even more beautiful

Due to moonlight!

Opinion

Four hundred seats?

Four hundred seats?

The mix of divisive cultural politics and growth-oriented economics that feeds Hindu middle-class ambition and provides targeted welfare are key ingredients in the BJP’s political trajectory.
