THIS refers to the article ‘Our next turn’ (July 7) by Cyril Almeida. It is always refreshing to contemplate on the not-so-hidden meaning of his message.

He seems to be saying watch out Nawaz Sharif. The people have not yet spoken.

When they do, they will hold to account for a million-dollar watch you wore at the oath-taking ceremony. They will hold Finance Minister Ishaq Dar to account for wearing the most expensive suit (bar none) when negotiating with the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

The profligate use of public funds will yet bring you to your knees.

Take care, Mr Prime Minister, take care.

The people have not yet spoken. When they do, it will bring down the curtain on your administration.
