PARIS: Pakistan’s top tennis player Aisam-ul-Haq and his Zimbabwean partner Cara Black crashed out of the mixed doubles event at the French Open on Wednesday.

Their journey came to an end at the semi-final stage where they lost 5-7, 4-6 to France’s Kristina Mladenovic and Daniel Nestor of Canada.

Mladenovic and Nestor will face Lucie Hradecka and Frantisek Cermak in the final after the Czech duo defeated Liezel Huber of the United States and Brazil’s Marcelo Melo 3-6, 6-2, 10-3.—Agencies
