Larkana faces unannounced loadshedding owing to which UPS has also become dysfunctional.

It is burning 50°C and we are without electricity for 16 hours in a day in a city that has been a hub for the PPP. The city, for which many billions of rupees were allocated to make it a “model city’’ is actually a wreck.

There are no traffic rules, no signals and no traffic policemen. There is no sewerage disposal system. The city has become congested, roads are blocked and in this heat we are left clueless.

The authorities should take notice and provide us with our basic needs.
