STUDENTS’ PROBLEM: Students fainting in Government Middle School for Boys, Khoidadkhel, due to intense hot weather has become a routine, as the school does not have any fans installed in it.

The school was made functional by education department in September last year, but the communication and works department could not install ceiling fans in it so far.

The unavailability of ceiling fans coupled with sizzling heat have been affecting teaching and learning activities in the school.

When contacted, the school's headmaster Noor Aslam said that the contractor of C&W department had brought used and old fans instead of new ones and he did not allow him to install them.

The area people have demanded of the deputy commissioner and education department to take notice of the matter and immediately order installation of new fans in the school.

Meanwhile, a local leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Ameerullah Khan visited Government City Hospital on Thursday and saw the ongoing construction work of the hospital. City Hospital's MS Dr Abdul Ghaffar Wazir was present on the occasion.
