ISLAMABAD, Dec 21: A woman was tortured allegedly by her husband and mother-in-law here on Wednesday, police said.
Shahzad Town police registered a case against victim's husband, Ali Sadqain, and mother-in-law for beating and cutting her hair.
Efforts are in progress to arrest Ali Sadqain who had escaped from his house located in Iqbal Town.
After being humiliated by her in-laws, the woman went to her parents' house in Sadiqabad who brought her to the police station for action against the husband and in-laws.
The police quoted the victim as saying that her husband and in-laws were forcing her into prostitution.—Staff Reporter
