LAHORE, Oct 27: A 22-year-old man was shot dead allegedly by his neighbour over the issue of retaining dominance in the area in Mughlia Park of Shahdara on Thursday.
Shahdara Town police said Nadir Ali was shot and injured near his house by Mustafa and his three accomplices. He was rushed to Mayo Hospital where he succumbed to his wounds.
The police handed over the body to the family after an autopsy and registered a case against the accused.
DIES: A 50-year-old prisoner of Kot Lakhpat jail died of protracted illness at Jinnah Hospital on Thursday.
The police said Gulzar Mushtaq of Mandi Bahauddin, who was sentenced to death in a murder case, was suffering from hepatitis.
The victim, who had been languishing in the jail since 2000, was admitted to the hospital a few days ago.
BOOKED: Police registered a case against a quack after a 40-year-old man, who was administered an 'expired' injection at a private clinic in Gujjarpura a couple of days ago, died at Mayo Hospital early on Thursday.
Gujjarpura SHO Shahid Ali said Mahboob Alam of Janipura Sher Shah Park was administered an 'expired' injection by Muhammad Mushtaq at his clinic. He said Mushtaq transported Alam to Mayo when his condition deteriorated and then fled.
