KASUR, Oct 11: The Khudian police have solved a kidnap case and seized on Tuesday the body of man who went missing a month ago.

Muhammad Saleem was residing in Khudian with his in-laws. Yaseen, an employ of Saleem, developed an affair with Saleem's mother-in-law Sakina Bibi. Saleem expelled Yaseen but the latter continued to see Sakina Bibi to which Saleem took exception that annoyed Yaseen.

On Sept 13, Saleem went missing and the matter was reported to the local police on which an FIR was registered against unidentified people.

On suspicion, the police arrested Sakina Bibi and her son Jamshaid a couple of days ago after which Yaseen intervened and tried to get the woman and her son freed.

The police also suspected Yaseen's involvement and arrested him on Monday night.

Later, Yaseen admitted that he, with the help of his friend Mushtaq Ahmed, had killed Saleem and buried him in fields near Kalian Pullan on the railway track.

On Tuesday, the police seized the body on Yaseen's disclosure and sent it for autopsy.
