NEW YORK:  Pakistan’s Foreign Minister, Hina Rabbani Khar said that Pakistan and Afghanistan share the same future and Pakistan will stand by Afghanistan for its prosperity and progress despite all circumstances, DawnNews reported.

During a meeting with her Afghan counterpart, Dr Zalmai Rassoul, Khar offered her condolences on the assassination of Professor Burhanuddin Rabbani, and said that a peaceful and stable Afghanistan is in the interest of Pakistan.

The Afghan FM assured Khar that Afghanistan will cooperate and work with Pakistan on all fronts.
