The problem with fashion from India and Pakistan is that the designers there can not let go of traditional looks. In fact, their designs seem to just be updated versions of centuries old traditional garb - and the updates don't even contribute to the garments because the traditional version are far more appealing than these versions. Year after year we same the same ideas with slightly different execution: a strange fusion of old looks with Western ones. Break the cycle!!!
I'll only be impressed by South Asian designers when they can abandon their awkward fusion of old-and-somewhat-new. Lets see them work with the monotones colours instead of gold, saffron, and bright pink. Can they make an evening dress, or will they forever be addicted to "Modern Saris?"

Hi,
There are lots of designer who uses fusion of most of the ethnic outfits. The diversified outfits applied with fusion has made many shows very successful, this one was not so impressive.
