BHC DIRECTIVE: A division bench of the Balochistan High Court has directed the Quetta Metropolitan Corporation (QMC) to take action against encroachers in the city.

The bench comprising Chief Justice Faez Isa Qazi and Justice Jamal Khan Mandokhel said in its April 5 order released on Thursday that encroachment created hurdles on roads and caused inconvenience and nuisance to people.

BOYCOTT: Lawyers boycotted courts in protest against the disappearance of three colleagues – Farzand Ali Mengal, Agha Zahir Shah and Munir Mirwani.

The lawyers did not appear in any of the courts and before judicial magistrates in the city.
